When Water Wagon first began delivering water in the Fairbanks area over 30 years ago, most customers lived in cabins with outhouses; water was used for cooking, but rarely for showers, toilets or laundry facilities. As the population of Fairbanks and the Fairbanks North Star Borough has grown, more homes are being built beyond the reaches of the city water system.
